Brooklyn's Gonzalez AL #1 Batter in August Wednesday, September 1st , 2049 Esteban Gonzalez, the Brooklyn right fielder, certainly made a name for himself this past month. He banged out a .382 batting average with 39 hits, 11 home runs, 25 RBIs and scored 25 times. That kind of hitting earned him the Alliance League Batter of the Month honors for August. To date Gonzalez has chalked up a .316 average with 41 home runs, driven in 85 runs and scored 100 times. |
