Alliance League Selects Best Performer Monday, August 23rd , 2049 It was an extraordinary week for Dave Martinez of the Los Angeles Kings. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .636, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Alliance League. Last week Martinez went 14-for-22, racked up 4 home runs and 9 RBIs and scored 7 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Los Angeles first baseman. So far this year, Martinez is batting .289 with 18 home runs and 67 RBIs. |
