Aces Potter, Pitcher of the Year Award Winner Sunday, November 12th , 2045 This past season was very special for John Potter of the Omaha Aces. He picked up 12 wins against only 14 losses and was chosen the winner of the 2045 Alliance League Pitcher of the Year Award. The 33-year-old Aces ace fashioned a fine 3.49 ERA in 29 starts. He threw 201.1 innings, gave up 179 hits, 51 walks and held opponents to a .237 average. Potter fanned 211 batters this season. He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 16. Mike Rodriguez of the Brooklyn Knights finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Jim Steeb of the Omaha Aces finished third.
