June's Best Batter Announced Monday, July 1st , 2052 Ivan Amburtsev, the Buffalo first baseman, certainly made a name for himself this past month. He banged out a .324 batting average with 33 hits, 7 home runs, 22 RBIs and scored 17 times. That kind of hitting earned him the Alliance League Batter of the Month honors for June. For the year, Amburtsev has hit at a .282 clip with 50 RBIs, 13 home runs and 41 runs scored. |
