"It's an exciting time to be a fan of the Takoyaki. I think we had people on the edge of their seats wondering what would happen," said closer Daniel Forsyth. What ended up happening is that the team's 76-87 record has allowed it to move on to the postseason, with a chance to win the 5th World Series in franchise history.
