Garcia Keeps Hit Streak Alive Saturday, October 1st , 2050 Rod Garcia's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 2-for-4 in his team's 7-3 triumph over the Osaka Takoyaki at Kyiv Grounds. The 25-year-old left fielder has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Cossacks. Rod Garcia singled in the 1st, hit a sac fly in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and flied out in the 7th. Garcia is currently batting .305 with 28 home runs and 105 RBIs. |
