Week's Top Performer Honored by AL Monday, September 26th , 2050 It was announced today that Havana right fielder Jason Engels had received the Alliance League Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .455 BA (10-for-22), 4 home runs and 11 RBIs. This season, Engels is batting .335 with 179 hits and 36 home runs. He has scored 100 times and has 113 RBI. |
