Bad Boy Brawlers Suspended 4 Games
Thursday, September 22nd , 2050
Tempers were flaring yesterday at Sportsman's Park. Both the Kings and Buffalo were defending their turf. A few punches were thrown, but fortunately very few landed -- there was more wrestling than fighting. When the umpires sorted everything out, Los Angeles's Lugh Hughes and Buffalo's Adam Marusak were ejected from the game.
Today the league office suspended Hughes and Marusak for 4 games each.
Thus far this year, Hughes has hit .250 with 6 home runs and 53 RBIs.
Marusak has taken the hill for 6 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 0-0 record with a 3.07 ERA. The Buffalo reliever has limited opposing batters to a .255 batting average.
