Engels Bags AL Best Player Award Monday, September 19th , 2050 Jason Engels made quite a splash in the Alliance League this past week. The Havana Sugar Kings right fielder drilled opposing pitchers for 12 hits in 20 at-bats to roll up a .600 batting average and the Alliance League Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 2 home runs, 3 RBIs and 4 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. Thus far this year, Engels is batting .330 with 32 home runs, 102 RBIs and 93 runs scored. |
