League Suspends Nicotra and Vega for Fisticuffs Sunday, June 16th , 2052 Chris Nicotra of the Kyiv Cossacks and Esteban Vega of the Arizona Scorpions will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Cossacks-Scorpions game at Desert Storm Stadium. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Nicotra and Vega will begin serving them soon. Nicotra is currently hitting at a .291 pace with 18 home runs, 43 RBIs and has scored 42 times. This season, Vega has 2 wins and 4 losses and a 6.22 ERA. |
