Gonzalez Makes 300 Mark Sunday, June 16th , 2052 It was a great day for Esteban Gonzalez, but not a good one for his Dublin Porters. The 31-year-old left fielder reached a personal milestone with his 300th career homer, but it wasn't enough to beat the East Haddam Hyenas, who came away with a 7-2 victory. Gonzalez finished the day with 2 hits, 2 RBI and 1 run scored. "Well, I've conceded the fact that you can't will yourself to hit a home run," he said. "I tried hard for the last few days. It was getting to be embarrassing with the crowd standing up every time I came to the plate."
