Year Over for Buffalo Marusak Friday, June 7th , 2052 The doctors have spoken and Adam Marusak of the Buffalo Buffalo didn't like what he heard. The 27-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Marusak sustained his season-ending injury during the Wilmington Blue Rocks game yesterday at Beavers Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Buffalo medical staff reported Marusak had a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 14 months. So far this year, Marusak has been credited with 1 save, registered a 5.87 ERA and struck out 15 in 15.1 innings. He also has a 0-1 record. |
