Dublin Advances to League Championship Monday, October 12th , 2048 It took a while, but the Dublin Porters finally disposed of the Arizona Desert Storm 4-3 in the series clincher at Porters Ballpark. Winning the finale gave the Porters the series, 3-2. They will now advance to the League Championship. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Dublin center fielder Jesse Oswald. He batted .455 in the series, collecting 10 RBIs and scoring 2 runs. The Dublin Porters will play against the St. Louis Archies in the next round. St. Louis won their series against the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs 3 games to 0. The League Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
