Los Angeles Beats Sudbury as Watkins Throws 4-0 Shutout Thursday, May 30th , 2052 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs as starter Alex Watkins shut them out, 4-0, at Sportsman's Park. The Los Angeles pitcher struck out 8 and walked 0 while allowing 3 hits. "Watkins was good but he wasn't flawless," Sudbury manager GM AllStar said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Los Angeles, but this is on us."
