Brooklyn's Alejandro Rodriguez Injured Tuesday, August 2nd , 2050 Alejandro Rodriguez of the Knights just might have to call it quits for the season. The 31-year-old Brooklyn reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Detroit Pizzas recently at Pizzas Ballpark. Rodriguez suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Knights medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 9 months. Rodriguez has taken the hill for 23 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 4-0 record with a 6.32 ERA. The Brooklyn reliever has limited opposing batters to a .272 batting average. |
