DTD Injury Puts Gleghorn Out of Lineup Monday, August 1st , 2050 Is Sam Gleghorn going to tough it out and play through an injury? We'll get the chance to find out one week as the outstanding Buffalo left fielder attempts to shrug off a stiff back he sustained throwing a pitch against the Los Angeles Kings. Whether management lets him play or handles him with kid gloves will depend mostly on how Gleghorn feels on a day-to-day basis. But there's little doubt that the Buffalo Buffalo will be happy for the talented player to return at full strength as soon as possible. So far this year, Gleghorn has hit .307 with 25 home runs, 55 RBIs and 60 runs scored. |
