Pizzas, Archies Swap Players Monday, August 1st , 2050 Detroit and St. Louis made a trade today. In this move, the Pizzas shipped 19-year old minor league RHP Danny Macias and 18-year old minor league RHP Mike Moreno to the Archies for 37-year old RHP Satoharu Sato. The Detroit GM told reporters, "I think this trade is beneficial to everyone involved, including the players." St. Louis will retain a portion of Sato's remaining contract. This season, Sato has worked 38.2 innings in 37 relief appearances and picked up 22 saves. He has dished out 42 strikeouts and walked 16 with a 1-0 mark and a 0.70 ERA. |
