Big Day with Bat: Kinnard 5-for-5
Tuesday, September 22nd , 2048
There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day.
Travis Kinnard is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Hanoi Dragon Warriors at Estadio Azteca. The monster effort from the 27-year-old left fielder helped the San Antonio Aztecs get the win, 10-2.
"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Dragon Warriors manager Jim thevoicelesscreator. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today."
Travis Kinnard singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit a two-run single in the 7th.
This season, Kinnard is batting .281 with 159 hits, 15 home runs, 69 RBIs, 34 walks, .326 OBP and has scored 65 runs. He has played in 144 games.
