Olson, Miller Suspended for Fracas Sunday, July 24th , 2050 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Havana-Buffalo contest at Sugardome II. The Sugar Kings Billy Olson and the Buffalo Jimmy Miller will have to sit out 4 and 8 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season, Olson is batting .311 with 122 hits, 11 home runs, 49 RBIs, 26 walks, .357 OBP and has scored 72 runs. He has played in 96 games. To date this season, Miller is 7-5 with 20 starts and an ERA of 3.84 with 123 strikeouts in 133.2 innings. |
