Desert Storm Marshall Strikes out 16 Monday, July 18th , 2050 Arizona Desert Storm starter Jay Marshall brought his best stuff to Desert Storm Stadium against the Havana Sugar Kings, striking out 16 batters in his club's 7-1 victory. In a strong performance, the 27-year-old Marshall gave up 7 hits in his 7 innings of work and issued 3 walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my changeup was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me."
