Hit Parade: Rodriguez Gets Cycle Friday, May 17th , 2052 Today at Sportsman's Park, Los Angeles Kings third baseman Mario Rodriguez accomplished a true baseball rarity, knocking a single, double, triple and a home run to hit for the cycle and lead the Kings to a win, 4-3, over the Hanoi Dragon Warriors. In a standout performance, Rodriguez laced 5 hits in 5 at-bats and had 1 RBI. "I felt good before the game, I felt good during it, and I feel great now," Rodriguez told reporters. Mario Rodriguez singled in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jon Gilson in the 6th, singled in the 9th and doubled in the 10th.
