Year Over for Blueberry Bulldogs Freeland
Monday, August 24th , 2048
The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs were dealt a severe blow when Josh Freeland was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the St. Louis Archies. After the game, the team trainer reported Freeland might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 24-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. They indicated it would take Freeland at least 9-10 months to heal.

His record this season is 8-9 in 27 starts and Freeland has a 4.32 ERA.
