Buffalo End Olson Streak Sunday, August 13th , 2051 The 20-game hitting streak of Billy Olson has come to an end. The Havana Sugar Kings first baseman went 0-for-4 in his team's 14-2 loss to the Buffalo Buffalo at Sugardome II. "It's not just Billy who came up short," Sugar Kings manager The Baron said in his postgame press conference. "This was a team loss." So far this season, Olson has recorded a .293 batting average with 124 hits, 12 home runs, 56 RBIs, 76 runs scored and a .364 OBP. |
