Deere Out of Action, Listed DTD Thursday, October 24th , 2047 Blueberry Bulldogs starting pitcher Josh Deere was injured while being hit by a pitch against the Saskatchewan 92's. The injury was diagnosed as a bruised ankle. The Sudbury standout is not expected to miss too much action and will be listed as day-to-day. He could be out about one week. This year, Deere has worked 192.2 innings with 180 strikeouts en route to a 13-10 record and 4.53 ERA. |
