Detroit's Caravaggio Snags July Batting Title Sunday, August 1st , 2049 Jose Caravaggio, the Detroit right fielder, certainly made a name for himself this past month. He banged out a .410 batting average with 41 hits, 10 home runs, 24 RBIs and scored 27 times. That kind of hitting earned him the Alliance League Batter of the Month honors for July. On the year, Caravaggio has hit .328 with 21 home runs, 67 RBIs and scored 63 runs. |
