Cooper Picked July's Best Newcomer Tuesday, August 1st , 2051 Youngster Rowan Cooper emerged as the latest Alliance League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Los Angeles deserved the honor, batting .289 with 4 home runs and 12 RBI. Is the month of July a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Cooper enjoy the limelight. To date, Cooper has collected 29 hits for a .287 average. He has posted 4 home runs, scored 16 runs and driven in 12 runs. |
