St. Louis-Havana Brawl, Robertson and Nicolia Suspended
Wednesday, July 28th , 2049
Josh Robertson of the St. Louis Archies and Tylor Nicolia of the Havana Sugar Kings will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 2 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Archies-Sugar Kings game at Team2 Ballpark.
Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Robertson and Nicolia will begin serving them soon.
Robertson is hitting .318 this year with 15 home runs, 53 RBIs and 65 runs scored. He has 123 hits in 387 at-bats, 26 walks and a .365 on-base percentage. Robertson has played in 92 games.
Nicolia has gone to the hill for 14 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 2-0 record with a 5.92 ERA. The Havana reliever has limited opposing batters to a .263 batting average.
