Detroit-Buffalo Fight Results in Suspensions Sunday, July 25th , 2049 If there wasn't a history between Adrian Ressler of Detroit and Danny Rutledge of Buffalo, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 2 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Ressler said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Looking at his season stats, Ressler has compiled a .193 batting average and a .281 on-base percentage, while hitting 4 home runs and driving in 11 runs. This season, Rutledge has nailed down 2 saves with 40 strikeouts in 29.1 innings. He is credited with 6 wins and 1 loss and has a 3.07 earned run average. |
