Sunday, October 13th , 2047
Fans are still buzzing after Los Angeles whipped the San Antonio Aztecs by the score of 12-1 at Sportsman's Park.
Zack Labb smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the left fielder bashed out 5 hits in 5 at-bats, had 4 RBIs and scored 4 times.
At the postgame press conference, Labb said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game.
"Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Labb said. "Three is just... wow."
Zack Labb hit a solo-shot off John Griese in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ken Fessenden in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Nick Castillo in the 8th.
Batting .297 to date, Labb has 20 home runs and 80 RBIs.
