Nevarez Selected September's Top Newcomer Tuesday, October 1st , 2047 Youngster Marcos Nevarez emerged as the latest Federation League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from St. Louis deserved the honor, batting .312 with 6 home runs and 18 RBI. Is the month of September a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Nevarez enjoy the limelight. This season in 54 games, Nevarez has hit at a .276 clip with 56 hits, 12 home runs, 30 RBIs and 29 runs scored. |
