Edmondson Muzzles Portland Bats Monday, July 3rd , 2051 The Portland Beavers were almost helpless in their 4-0 loss to the St. Louis Archies and hurler Nate Edmondson. Edmondson kept the Beavers confused all game, spinning a 4-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Edmondson," Portland manager GM bigbluex02 said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 26-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 10 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Edmondson said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way." This season, Edmondson has crafted a 4-3 mark with a 3.17 ERA in 59.2 innings.
