Rookie Cops Alliance League Award Saturday, July 1st , 2051 It was an awesome June for Jon Avery. The young Los Angeles starter surprised opponents all month and today was announced as the Alliance League Rookie of the Month. In 5 starts he registered a 4-0 record and racked up 33 strikeouts and a 3.09 ERA in 35 innings. Avery has made 15 starts so far this year and put up a 11-2 won-lost record with a 3.28 ERA. In 101.2 innings he has allowed 80 hits, walked 29 and struck out 115. |
