Potgeter Stretches Hit String to 20 Saturday, September 7th , 2047 The Saskatchewan 92's stopped the East Haddam Hyenas, 4-2, and Ben Potgeter collected a base hit yet again. The Saskatchewan right fielder finished with 1 hit to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Potgeter told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Ben Potgeter hit an RBI single in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, hit a sac fly in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
