Verville Razor-Sharp, Shuts Out Los Angeles Wednesday, June 28th , 2051 In a remarkable performance, Dublin Porters starter Ben Verville beat the Los Angeles Kings, 10-0, in an impressive 7-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Porters hurler finished with 5 strikeouts and no walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Los Angeles manager Jim KP said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
