Brymer Booms 3 Homers Wednesday, June 28th , 2051 Byron Brymer went yard three times in a Detroit Pizzas victory over the St. Louis Archies at Pizzas Ballpark. "I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit." For the day, the Detroit catcher went 4-for-4 against St. Louis with 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Pizzas to the 13-4 win. "I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out." Byron Brymer hit a two-run home run off Jim Harrington in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jim Harrington in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Kyle Sanchez in the 8th. Brymer is hitting .336 in 2051 with 40 RBIs and 16 home runs. |
