Jeffries Wins FL Player of the Week Honors Monday, June 26th , 2051 Pitchers who faced the Arizona Desert Storm last week were happy to see Jacob Jeffries in the rear-view mirror. The 29-year-old center fielder was dubbed the Federation League Player of the Week for a 5-game tear that saw him hit at a .474 clip. For the week he also chalked up 9 hits in 19 at-bats, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored. In the current season, Jeffries has put up a .250 batting average with 60 hits, 9 home runs, 33 RBI and scored 29 runs. |
