Spradley Sidelined, Listed DTD by Portland Friday, July 1st , 2050 Reports out of Portland indicate that Luke Spradley, the gifted left fielder, might be sidelined for one week or so with back spasms. The 26-year-old star suffered the injury in yesterday's Dragon Warriors-Beavers game while throwing the ball. "It's a game time decision," noted the team doctor, "It all depends on how Luke feels later today. If he can play, he will." So far this season, Spradley is batting .282 with 18 home runs, 46 RBIs and 54 runs scored. He has 77 hits in 273 at-bats, 39 walks and a .377 OBP. Spradley has played in 74 games. |
