AL Batter of the Month Honors to Hamburg Friday, July 1st , 2050 At only 22 years of age, Rourke Hamburg could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Detroit Pizzas, as June was one to remember for the first baseman and he has captured the Alliance League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .440 with 5 home runs, 13 RBIs and 19 runs scored. So far this season, Hamburg is batting .348 with 10 home runs. |
