Gordam Sends Detroit Bats to Deep Freeze Sunday, July 26th , 2048 Karl Gordam kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Dublin Porters were all smiles after winning, 5-0, against the Detroit Pizzas at Pizzas Ballpark. The left-handed Gordam gave up no runs in his start, permitted 5 hits, and tallied 9 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Gordam said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." Checking out his stats for the season, Gordam has notched 11 wins and 5 losses in 20 starts. His ERA is 3.03 and he's struck out 210 batters in 148.1 innings.
