Matt Wesberry Lost for Season Monday, April 29th , 2052 Playoff hopes of Blueberry Bulldogs player Matt Wesberry have been dealt a blow today after tests revealed the starting pitcher suffered a damaged elbow ligament throwing a pitch in today's game against St. Louis Archies. Wesberry is expected to miss up to 13-14 months, effectively ruling him out of the playoffs. To this point in the season, Wesberry shows a 1-2 record, 6 starts, 27.2 innings, 30 strikeouts and a 5.86 ERA. |
