Nicotra and Michaels Brawl, League Suspends Them Monday, April 22nd , 2052 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Kyiv-Dublin contest at Kyiv Grounds. The Cossacks Chris Nicotra and the Porters Landon Michaels will have to sit out 3 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This year, Nicotra has hit at a .378 clip with 28 hits, 7 home runs, 15 RBIs and 18 runs scored. For the year, Michaels has collected no saves in 4 relief appearances. He has also rung up 12 strikeouts and 4 walks in 11.2 innings while registering a 6.17 ERA and a 1-0 won-lost mark. |
