Clark Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Tuesday, July 7th , 2048 Sam Clark's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Memphis. The 25-year-old center fielder extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 1-for-2 performance against the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs. The Chicks won the game, 5-3. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Sam Clark doubled in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th. This season, Clark is batting .389 with 132 hits, 13 home runs, 48 RBIs, .424 OBP and has scored 63 runs. |
