Ralph Raises Awareness at Local Animal Shelter Saturday, January 15th , 2050 Kings first baseman and noted animal rights activist Ryan Ralph appeared at a local animal shelter today. Ralph visited the shelter to help call attention to the cause of pet adoption. "These animals desperately need to be taken in by loving families," said the popular Los Angeles player as he cradled a small puppy. "Many of these little guys were unwanted and abandoned. I just want to use my status in the community to help find good homes for them." Ralph, who is a member of PETA, has long been a spokesman for the organization and is a noted advocate for animal protection. |
