FL Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, July 6th , 2048 When it came to hitting the baseball, Pete Batley was in a class by himself in the Federation League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding shortstop for Lansing tagged opposing pitchers for a .650 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 13 hits in 20 at-bats, 2 homers, 7 runs scored and 5 RBIs. This season, Batley has hit at a .317 clip with 29 RBIs, 9 home runs and 39 runs scored. |
