AL Selects Guinn June's Best Pitcher Wednesday, July 1st , 2048 This month when the Los Angeles manager wrote the name "Guinn" on the lineup card, he was confident that he would get a good start out of him. Outing after outing in June Toby Guinn took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 5-0 mark and 2.86 ERA in 5 starts, piling up 34.2 innings and 39 strikeouts and holding opposing teams to a .271 average. For his superb performance Guinn was named the Alliance League Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. So far this year, Guinn has 6 wins and 4 losses and a 3.88 ERA. |
