St. Louis Trades Lambert to San Antonio for Cifelli Monday, June 29th , 2048 St. Louis and San Antonio have agreed in principle to a trade. The Archies will send 35-year old minor league RHP Brad Griffitts, 25-year old minor league 1B Pete Lambert, 25-year old minor league 1B Alejandro Vazquez, 19-year old minor league RHP Armando Lopez, 23-year old minor league RHP Kevin DiLeonardi, and 30-year old minor league RF Nate Horton to the Aztecs for 27-year old 1B Brian Cifelli and 18-year old minor league RHP Rich Simmons. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete. To date this season, Cifelli is hitting .314 with 19 home runs. |
