Ruiz Wins August's Rookie Award Sunday, September 1st , 2047 Youngster Victor Ruiz emerged as the latest Federation League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Dublin deserved the honor, batting .340 with 6 home runs and 18 RBI. Is the month of August a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Ruiz enjoy the limelight. This season, Ruiz is hitting .292 with 19 home runs. |
