Brooklyn Newcomer August's #1 Rookie Sunday, September 1st , 2047 Ed Putty's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Brooklyn first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In August he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .345 with 8 doubles, no triples and 6 home runs. Putty also scored 20 times and drove in 18 runs. This season, Putty is batting .301 with 143 hits, 14 home runs, 62 RBIs, 59 walks, .377 OBP and has scored 60 runs. He has played in 124 games. |
