But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Knights, as they fell, 13-4, to the Havana Sugar Kings. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Havana manager The Baron said later. Esteban Gonzalez singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Luis Lezama in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Looking at his stats this year, Gonzalez has compiled a .360 batting average, while hitting 35 home runs and driving in 81 runs. He has played in 120 games and scored 98 runs. |
