Week's Premier Player: Osaka's Clark Monday, June 5th , 2051 Osaka fans have something to crow about today as Osaka left fielder Sam Clark nabbed the Federation League Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Clark. He posted a .500 average (13-for-26) this past week with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs, and 6 runs scored. For the season, Clark has produced 75 hits in 213 at-bats for a .352 average with 9 home runs and gotten on base at a .389 clip. |
